The Light in the Graveyard

I did this piece after a visit to Sleepy Hollow a few weeks back.
Below is the completed piece, along with a detail.

Chelsea Ships

When I go out during my lunch break to Chelsea Market, I make sure I stop and look towards the river. You never know what you'll see happening.
Every so often, large sailboats go by.

Once it was the Space Shuttle.

Attack on Titan

I made this piece after watching a marathon of a show called, "Attack on Titan".
I'm a little too into that show now so I thought I'd try and work it out of my system with this guy.
Recently, I've been heavily focused on my work for Dorkly so I thought I'd branch out and get back into my ol' groove.

Prints Available, as always.

The Boys of Silence

I've been playing a lot of Bioshock Infinite recently. It's awesome.
It manages to be dark and moody with bright happy colors.
My favorite enemies you encounter though are the so very creepy "Boys of Silence". In an attempt to capture their eerie ascetic, I did a quick sketch that turned into an exercise that turned into a full blown illustration.

The Hobbit / Lord of the Ring PSA Posters

I made some more PSA posters for Dorkly.com! This time, we did it on The Hobbit / Lord of the Rings. Andrew Bridgman and Caldwell Tanner wrote them and I designed / drew them.

Check out the rest of the posters here (on dorkly.com)!

This quote marked the beginning of chapter 10 in The Amber Spyglass.

Experiment with shapes: Will Parry

Trying something new. This is just a preview for what is to come. I'm kind of digging where this is going. Of course I did this little experiment with my favorite literary character, Will Parry.

Sufjan Stevens: Age of Adz

I did a mock up for my favorite album, Sufjan Stevens' "Age of Adz".

This was also a fun piece to make since I made the font by hand.

Long Island

I decided to try a new style. This is inspired by Long Island and that fact that I miss the summer.

Prints available as always.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

If you personally know me, you know I'm a bit obsessive about the Legend of Zelda series. Skyward Sword didn't really help that obsession. I love that as the games go one, Zelda gets more and more of a personality. (Also that Link and Zelda are close friends)

In this piece, I tried to play with bright colors more (though I may go back in and use my earthy tone pallet just to try it out).

Prints are available as always.
